Supply Chain Internship
MultiCare’s Supply Chain Internship provides practical experience in managing the flow of health care supplies. Interns will gain hands-on knowledge in key areas such as procurement, inventory management, distribution, and analytics.
About our program
The MultiCare Supply Chain Internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a complex and vital health care system. This 8 to 10-week summer program consists of two key components: an initial two-week shadowing period where interns observe various departments and understand their role in the supply chain, followed by a project-based role where interns actively contribute to a specialized supply chain team. This structure allows interns to apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios while gaining valuable exposure to procurement, inventory control, operations, strategic sourcing, applications & data, and resource analytics
Why supply chain at MultiCare?
Our supply chain team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by ensuring the right supplies reach the right people at the right time. We operate under four strategic priorities: people, process, performance and partnership, all working toward our overarching goal—delivering the highest value to support MultiCare’s mission.

Our department is divided into five key divisions, each collaborating to optimize supply chain operations and enhance patient care.
