High School Students

If you’re looking for a career where you can truly make a difference, health care will be a great choice. Careers in health care range from direct patient care roles like nursing to support functions like finance, human resources and information services.

We have several programs that can help you get into a great school or land your dream job after graduation.

MultiCare Academy for Students in Healthcare (M.A.S.H.) Camp is a free, five-day camp for current sophomores, juniors and seniors to explore careers in health care. Through the camp we hope to encourage, inspire and support students considering nursing or allied health professions, such as pharmacy, radiology or physical therapy.

The Junior COPE Health Scholars program provides a great way for high school students ages 16-18 to explore whether a health care career is right for them. Students observe how patient care and administrative teams work together to deliver excellent patient care.

Become a volunteer and gain valuable experience while helping your community. High school and college students are eligible to volunteer in a variety of areas. We require our volunteers to be 16 years or older and to commit to at least 100 hours of service.

Looking to kick-start a career in health care? Join one of our training programs and get paid while you develop specialty training. Our programs offer a variety of career paths, including nursing, pharmacy and phlebotomy. We require paid training program participants to be high school graduates and 18 years or older.

Gain work experience and make a difference in an entry-level position at MultiCare. From patient registration, environmental services or food service, we offer a variety of opportunities to start and grow your career with us. You must be 18 years or older to work with us.
