Education Opportunities

Tuition Assistance

  • Employees enrolled in an accredited college, university or technical / vocational school and pursuing a degree or approved specialty certificate may qualify for this benefit.
  • Depending on FTE and the program you choose, MultiCare will either cover 100% of tuition and fees or up to $5,250 for full-time employees/$2,500 for part-time employees per year.
  • This benefit is available to MutiCare employees after they reach 90 days of employment with us.

RN Student Loan Repayment

  • MultiCare provides $400 in monthly student loan repayment installments for eligible employees.
  • We do so for up to five years or $24,000, whichever comes first.
  • Currently, we can only process loans issued by a US lender.

College Student Rotations / Fieldwork / Experiential Learning

MultiCare offers student placement and development for those majoring in a health care program. We’re here to help these students complete their clinical (or hands-on) training as required by their academic program. We offer student internships, externships and rotations. Student job shadows and other opportunities will resume in 2024.

Graduate Medical Education

MultiCare is one of the largest clinical training sites for students, residents and fellows in the Pacific Northwest. Our Medical Academics office manages relationships with schools, universities and programs across the country and supports the trainees in our hospitals and clinics. We are pleased to be able to offer this training as professional growth to our physicians and advanced practice providers and to improve the quality and safety of our care.

GROW — which stands for Growth, Recognition, Opportunity and Well-being — is a professional development program created by nurses for nurses. The program rewards RNs and LPNs for their expertise and achievements in creating new knowledge, innovating, improving nursing practice, promoting evidence-based practice and encouraging well-being.
