Administrative fellowship and internship programs
MultiCare offers hands-on administrative training for graduate students and emerging health care leaders.
- Administrative Internship Program – This 10-12 week paid summer internship is for Master’s-level students in health administration, business or related fields. Interns work on system-level projects, attend executive meetings and gain valuable leadership experience.
- Administrative Fellowship Program – This 18-month fellowship provides real-world health care management experience. Fellows develop leadership skills, work on strategic initiatives and collaborate with MultiCare’s physicians and executives.
Job shadowing
MultiCare offers two unique job shadowing pathways to help you explore health care careers through real-world observation. Whether you’re a volunteer curious about the field or a college student fulfilling program requirements, our opportunities are designed to give you meaningful insight into health care roles — no hands-on experience required.
- Volunteer pathway: For active MultiCare volunteers and high school students (16+); requires 60 hours of volunteer service.
-
College student pathway: For students in accredited health care programs needing shadowing hours; one-time, observation-only experience.
Volunteers
Becoming a volunteer is a great way to gain valuable experience while helping your community. High school and college students are eligible to volunteer in a variety of areas. We do require volunteers to be at least 16 years old and to commit to at least 100 hours of service.
