MultiCare’s RN Fellowship, titled the RN Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) Program, is designed for experienced nurses looking to transition into a new specialty. This program offers a supportive and structured pathway for nurses to expand their skill set and enter a specialty with confidence.

2025 Cohort Start Dates
- Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Emergency, Med/Surg, PACU and Progressive Care – February 10, April 7, June 2, July 28, September 22 and November 17.
- Birth Center, NICU, OR and Pediatrics – February 24, April 21, August 11 and October 6.
Admission Requirements & Commitment
Admission Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Obtain CPR/BLS certification.
- Pass NCLEX and hold a current Washington State RN License.
- RN with 1+ year of experience in acute care.
Commitment
- Will be scheduled for 40 hours during precepted time on the unit.
- Must be available for varying shifts during the fellowship program, including some weekends and off-shifts.
- Actively participate in all learning activities.
