Who we are
MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty group within the MultiCare Health System, providing integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical, and supportive care across Washington state.
With over 6,000 new cancer cases diagnosed and treated each year, our programs span Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma, and Yakima. We combine advanced pathology, imaging, and evidence-based treatments with holistic supportive care to deliver personalized, high-quality cancer care.
As we continue to grow, we are building the Pacific Northwest’s most comprehensive and high-value oncology care system—projected to double in volume over the next five years.

Research opportunities
As the largest community-hospital-based research center in the Pacific Northwest, the MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation’s dedicated staff helps providers conduct research as part of their clinical practice. For 40 years MultiCare has leveraged clinical and health services research to provide patients with critical access to treatments only accessible through research in the communities where they live and work.
