Training Programs

MultiCare offers a Medical Assistant Training Program in partnership with MultiCare’s Center for Clinical Practice & Development Education team. This is a paid training program with a two-year commitment to work for MultiCare after completion. Opportunities are available in ambulatory settings in the Puget Sound Region and the Inland Northwest Region (Spokane and Spokane Valley).

MultiCare offers a Nursing Assistant Training Program in partnership with our Center for Clinical Practice & Development Education team. This paid, benefits-eligible program provides opportunities in inpatient settings across the Puget Sound region (Puyallup, Tacoma, Olympia, Auburn, and Covington), the Inland Northwest region (Spokane and Spokane Valley), and the Yakima Valley region.

MultiCare offers a 6-8 week Certified Phlebotomy Training Program, a paid, benefits-eligible opportunity. Upon completion, trainees will be hired at one of our lab locations in the Puget Sound region (Puyallup, Tacoma, Olympia, Auburn, Covington, Gig Harbor) or the Inland Northwest region (Spokane and Spokane Valley). Positions are available in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Interested in kick-starting your career as a Pharmacy Tech? Our Pharmacy Tech Training Program offers a 4-6 month paid training with a two-year commitment to work at MultiCare after completion. Trainees will have the opportunity to be hired at one of our pharmacy locations across the Puget Sound region (Puyallup, Tacoma, Olympia, Auburn, Covington, Gig Harbor) or the Inland Northwest region (Spokane and Spokane Valley).

Are you enrolled in nursing school and looking to jump-start your career? Apply for our Nurse Tech program! This exciting opportunity allows you to explore nursing career paths while gaining hands-on experience. MultiCare will also help fast-track your transition to the RN Transition to Practice program after graduation. The program is available in the Puget Sound region and the Inland Northwest region, including Spokane and Spokane Valley.

MultiCare offers a one-year paid Respiratory Internship Program for eligible students in the Puget Sound area. This program provides hands-on experience managing equipment and supplies, along with opportunities for direct patient care. Join the MultiCare Respiratory Care team and take the first step toward a brighter future!

MultiCare offers a Radiology Technologist Training Program in collaboration with academic partners such as Tacoma Community College, PIMA Medical Institute, Bellevue College and Oregon Institute of Technology. As part of the program, MultiCare provides a $2,500 tuition assistance stipend to help participating students advance their education and begin their careers in imaging and radiology. This opportunity is available throughout the greater Puget Sound region, including Tacoma, Puyallup, Gig Harbor, Auburn, Covington and Olympia.

MultiCare offers an exciting Sterile Processing Technician Trainee Program for students currently enrolled in a Central Service Technician (CST) course of study program approved by MultiCare Health System. As a CST Trainee, you will apply the health concepts you’ve learned in your coursework to hands-on tasks in a healthcare setting, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of experienced Central Service Technicians. This paid training program provides the opportunity to earn a paycheck while completing your education and preparing for certification.
